Grainne Adams

Lic.I.S.H., I.S.Hom.
Gainne Adams first discovered Homeopathy when her eldest son was a toddler and suffered with recurring ear infections. They were living in Sydney and attended a very learned Indian homeopath who asked Grainne all sorts of strange questions and then prescribed some little white pills and off they went. Three adult sons later, and they have never again had reason to visit the doctor!

On returning to Ireland, Grainne attended an Introductory course in Homeopathy and was totally intrigued! She began professional training in 1999 and graduated in 2003. Since then, she has been practicing in Bennekerry, Carlow where she has a very busy practice.

Being originally from Dublin it seemed natural for Grainne to practise there and is delighted to now work from the beautiful Dublin Wellness Centre.

In 2007 Grainne was invited by the Irish School of Homeopathy to join their staff. Having been a teacher for 20 years, she thoroughly enjoys this aspect of her work too. Grainne is continually delighted by how homeopathy helps people regain balance on so many levels. She is often asked the question ‘ Can Homeopathy help with…..’ then comes the list of complaints the person is suffering with. Her answer is always the same – the symptoms we suffer are all indicators of how our bodies are out of balance.

During the homeopathic consultation, Grainne will listen and ask questions to ascertain how an individual is expressing their total imbalance. Not just their hormones or their digestion etc but how they, as an individual, express their stress mentally, emotionally and physically. Then it is Grainne’s job to take those symptoms and find the remedy that best matches the individual in front of her. It is this remedy that will gently assist them to come back to balance. In a balanced state these symptoms disappear.
