Clear your mind and melt away all stress and tension during this magical Yin Yoga and Tibetan Sound Healing experience.
In this 90-minutes of blissful relaxation, Claudia will guide you gently into releasing and restoring yin postures as the blissful sounds of Tibetan bowls lead you deeper into a nourishing, healing place. The harmonics, frequencies, and vibrations of the Tibetan Bowls will take you to your own place of healing and help reach a deeply relaxed state of relaxation.
An accessible series of Yin Yoga poses will be synchronised to the serene sounds and deep vibrations of Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls. This combination will promote a state of supreme stillness and you will emerge renewed and revitalized.
If you are new to Yin Yoga, this workshop will provide a wonderful introduction to this nourishing practice. It’s a gentle form of yoga where passive floor-based asanas are held in a relaxed state for 3 to 5 minutes at a time. These long holds and slow pace are deeply nourishing- by emphasizing passive stress on the deep connective tissues, Yin Yoga is therapeutically used to improve flexibility and to mobilize and strengthen our joints, ligaments and deep fascial networks. It also enhances the free flow of prana throughout one’s body by directly stimulating the nadis. The experience of Yin Yoga is soothing and calming. It unlocks deeply held tension and cultivates patience and stillness – qualities that help us work towards meditation and deep relaxation.
During the session, the Singing Bowls will be moved around the room allowing participants to experience individual energetic healing through sound. This involves sounding the bowls while they are suspended above different energy centers of the body or placing them directly on participant’s bodies. The deep vibrations and healing energy of the Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls will deepen and enhance the effects of the yoga asana. Sound healing is an extremely powerful and non-intrusive method to release stress and reduce physical pain.
All postures can be adapted for every ability so the class is suitable for everyone. We want you to be as comfortable as possible so please wear clothing you’re happy lying down in.
