What better way to end the week?

Join Aoife and Miriam for Yin Yoga & Massage to soothe the body and ease the mind.
Aoife will lead us through a luscious Yin practice.
Massage will be given during some of the poses, and during savasana.

Miriam will then facilitate some massage exchange practices – a straightforward sequence that you can practise and exchange with friends afterwards!

We’ll finish off in stillness and silence … ready to float away into Friday night…Yin-fully!Comfort and consent are the number one priority throughout the class. You are welcome to say no at any point to receiving massage. Miriam will chat to each participant beforehand to check-in, about any places they don’t like touched, what kind of massage they like generally, etc.

Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues – fascia, joints, ligaments. We approach yoga poses from a softer, more passive place, and spend longer in each pose (anywhere from 3-10 minutes, depending on the pose). It’s all about opening up your body and allowing for sensation, as opposed to trying to get anywhere or push anything.
